President Obama’s 7th Annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit 
This is an incredible yearly event that includes a wide range of workshops, panels, ignite talks, pitch competitions, mentoring, and networking sessions aimed to give participants tailored opportunities to gain skill and relationships that will help their ventures grow. Within the Summit there will also be demonstration areas, experiential learning exhibitions, and opportunities to connect with industry experts. The Summit will be a great opportunity for RPCVs looking to connect with international entrepreneurs and investors and also dust off their language skills.  If interested in volunteering at the Summit, go this volunteer sign-up form.

Screening of “A Struggle for Home: The Crimean Tatars”
Joint event with the Sacramento Chapter of the World Affairs Council
Ukraine RPCV Barbara Wieser will speak after this 45-minute film about the escalating persecution of the Crimean Tatars in Crimea. The film won Best International Film at the Washington DC Independent Film Festival in March. Watch the trailer here.
